The Innovation Center of NanoMedicine (iCONM) and The University of Tokyo have proposed a new property evaluation method of nanoparticles’ shape anisotropy that solves long-standing issues in nanoparticle evaluation that date back to Einstein’s time. This method uses deep learning to analyze the trajectory of Brownian motion, which reflects the influence of particle shape, and can accurately measure the diameter of a particle from micro to nano size.
