AI technology is being integrated into India’s healthcare system to combat pneumonia, a major public health challenge. This revolution is due to several governmental initiatives over the past few years, such as the National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence and the National Health Stack. These initiatives are creating a digital healthcare infrastructure that includes Health Lockers, PHR frameworks, a coverage and claims platform, a national health analytics platform, and a unique digital health ID for each citizen. This has created an impetus for greater collaboration between government, technology companies, and traditional healthcare providers.
