Spitzoid tumors (ST) are a group of melanocytic tumors of high diagnostic complexity, first described by Sophie Spitz in 1948. To address the diagnostic uncertainty of ST, a dataset called SOPHIE was created, containing whole slide imaging (WSI) of benign, malignant, and atypical tumors, along with the clinical information of each patient. Additionally, two deep learning models were implemented as validation examples using this database.
