Microsoft’s leaked documents have revealed plans for new console hardware, mid-generation refreshes of existing Xbox Series consoles, and potential plans for the next generation. The documents have been deemed out of date by Phil Spencer, however, and the revised Series consoles may not be the final product. The Xbox Series S will receive improvements in sustainable materials, double its storage to 1TB, and shrink its main processor to TSMC’s 6nm node. The Xbox Series X will receive the same spec enhancements as the Series S, as well as a more thorough revamp.
