Amazon India’s Shelf Monitoring Solution Likely Be Piloted In Other Geographies Soon

Amazon has launched a shelf monitoring solution in India that uses machine learning to detect defects in fruits and vegetables. The system uses computer vision models and Wi-Fi-enabled cameras to detect pre-determined defects in produce. It currently supports manual monitoring through a mobile app, where operators can submit images of produce crates for assessment.
