TurbineOne, a U.S. intel analytics software company, has been awarded a multi-year contract from the Department of Defense’s Defense Innovation Unit to prototype new machine learning capabilities. This press release features the announcement of a new feature of TurbineOne’s Frontline Perception System called Sidekick, which leverages a computer science method called Zero Shot to accurately identify objects without the need for extensive web infrastructure, metadata standards, and previously labeled training data.
