Corning’s Chairman and CEO, Wendell Weeks, and Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, Jeff Evenson, discussed the company’s priorities during the pandemic period and how they are shifting as the world moves through the pandemic. Corning acted swiftly to protect their employees and facilities around the world, and contributed to the global health fight by refocusing their entire pharmaceutical packaging operation to directly combat the pandemic. They have supported the delivery of more than 8 billion COVID-19 vaccines in more than 50 countries, and have never declared force majeure despite many of their suppliers doing so.
