adesso Ventures, the venture capital arm of the IT service provider adesso, has made a seed investment in the Essen-based start-up TamedAI, a company specialising in AI-based language models. Perceptor, a TamedAI innovation, makes it possible to automatically scan, extract and process data from documents using state-of-the-art computer vision technology. OpenAI’s AI chatbot, ChatGPT, is expected to have a disruptive effect on business and society.
