This article discusses the limitations of deep learning, a type of artificial intelligence, in comparison to the human brain. It is argued that while deep learning is powerful and promising, it is far from perfect when it comes to visual recognition. The study was led by Marieke Mur, a neuroimaging expert at Western University in Canada.
