BeagleBoard.org® has released two new Single Board Computers (SBCs): BeagleConnect™ Freedom and BeaglePlay®. BeaglePlay is an open-source SBC designed to simplify the process of adding sensors, actuators, indicators, human interfaces, and connectivity to a reliable embedded system. It has built-in wired and wireless connectivity, including single-pair Ethernet and Sub-GHz wireless options, allowing it to connect to a wide range of sensor and prototyping systems. BeaglePlay is suitable for early adopters who want an expandable Linux experience without needing to read schematics and can be used in various applications.
