Roland’s Sp-404 Mkii Is Receiving A Serious New Update

Roland has released the newest software update to their SP-404 MKII sampler, offering big improvements to the device’s workflow. The update includes an extended DJ Mode, pad mute automation, and a series of workflow enhancements. The extended DJ Mode introduces the ability to manipulate eight cue points per sample, adjust fader curves, assign time stretch, and sync external MIDI instruments. The pad mute and pad mute automation features are also included, allowing users to quickly mute and unmute pads.
