Nationwide, Swiss Re Form Mga Partnership With Compscience

Nationwide, Swiss Re and CompScience have announced a partnership to deploy computer vision models to identify potential workplace hazards and reduce worker’s compensation claims. CompScience’s Intelligent Safety Platform, which uses a library of computer vision models to detect 50 plus behavioral and environmental hazards, has already reduced worker’s compensation claims by 23%. Nationwide will underwrite, bind and service the workers’ compensation policies, while Swiss Re will provide data analytics and reinsurance. This platform provides actionable insights into workplace risks and has the potential to save lives and reduce costs.
