Keysight And Kth Collaboration Get Record Baud Rates

Keysight, in collaboration with the RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and Riga Technical University (RTU), has successfully demonstrated the first 310GBaud rates using on-off keying modulation and 160GBaud rates using PAM6 modulation with direct detection system to support 1.6Tbps applications. The achievement will be presented at OFC 2023, and the project is aimed at providing cost-effective and low-power solutions to meet the increasing bandwidth demand for machine learning, artificial intelligence, 5G, and IoT applications.
