Ibex Medical Analytics has recently secured several contracts to offer its AI-based Galen digital pathology platform to 25 UK National Health Service trusts. The UK government has invested £10 million and £13.5 million in the Pathology Image Data Lake for Analytics, Knowledge, and Education (PathLAKE) consortium to support the uptake of digital pathology in the country. Ibex’s chief commercial officer, Stuard Shand, believes that the momentum in the UK is very strong and is starting to be seen in the US.
