Radiologists in Hungary have made the Eastern European country a major testing ground for the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to identify potential cancers on mammograms. AI’s machine learning technology is being used at five hospitals and clinics in Hungary to perform more than 35,000 breast screenings a year. This technology has been tested on more than 275,000 breast cancer cases in Hungary, and has been found to be highly accurate in detecting cancer.
