Daimler Truck Subsidiary Acquires Expertise For Ml, Computer Vision

Daimler Trucks, through its subsidiary Torc Robotics, has announced plans to acquire the Canadian company Algolux. Algolux specializes in computer vision and machine learning, which will help Torc to develop self-driving trucks. The acquisition is focused on the market launch of the Freightliner Cascadia autonomous truck.
