Aston University has completed a two-year Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with Coventry-based global transport technology firm Aurrigo, resulting in a sophisticated machine vision solution that has improved the capabilities of its autonomous vehicles. The project has enabled the vehicles to detect and recognize objects in greater detail, allowing for improved performance across a wider range of operational domains. The new technology has been applied to the company’s airport Auto-Dolly.
