Kruu is a tech startup that connects middle/high school kids to academic and creative projects curated by top academic institutions globally. Founded by musician and entrepeneur Anil Srinivasan, Kruu aims to make critical and creative thinking accessible to all. The platform offers students a chance to work on unique problem statements put forward by academicians from institutions such as IIT Madras, Harvard, University of California. Four Class XI students from DAV Boys school chose a 21-day project to build a machine learning software to help those with autism understand emotions behind facial expressions and sentences. Kruu also offers guidance to students on programming languages.
