Rockwell Automation and NVIDIA are collaborating to develop safer and smarter industrial AI mobile robots, with a focus on autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). This partnership will help drive the use of AI in manufacturing and increase efficiency in factories. Additionally, Rockwell is integrating NVIDIA’s Omniverse Cloud APIs with its Emulate3D software to provide data interoperability and photo-realistic graphics rendering for designing and operating digital twins of production systems. The collaboration comes as AI is ranked as the top feature manufacturers believe will drive the biggest business outcomes, with 83% of manufacturers expecting to use generative AI in their operations by 2024.
