The Robotics Institute Germany (RIG) is a new initiative that aims to establish a central contact point for robotics in Germany. The project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, will focus on AI-based robotics and aims to build on Germany’s success in industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, and automotive. The RIG hopes to position Germany as a leader in embodied AI and promote the use of intelligent robots in various sectors.
