Target Corporation is launching a generative AI tool called Store Companion to assist its workforce and improve operational efficiency and the shopping experience. The tool will be accessible via an app on staff handheld devices and will provide immediate, reliable answers to procedural questions. It is currently being piloted in 400 Target stores nationwide.
