Tesla Inc has resumed hiring in North America for positions in the field of autopilot and robotics, indicating the company’s continued focus on self-driving and AI infrastructure efforts. This comes after a recent layoff of 10% of its global workforce, including several high-level executives. CEO Elon Musk has also hinted at the possibility of the company’s humanoid robot, Optimus, being available for sale externally by 2025.
