Siemens Opens Its Largest Cooperation Center Worldwide At Tum

The Siemens Technology Center (STC) on the TUM Campus Garching is a new research facility that aims to forge closer ties between academic research and industrial practice. The STC will focus on digital twins, the industrial internet of things, robotics, and automation. It is part of TUM’s Industry on Campus strategy, which promotes collaboration between researchers and companies, boosts practice-oriented education, and facilitates technology transfers. Bavarian Minister President Dr. Markus Söder praises the partnership between Siemens, TUM, and the Free State of Bavaria as an “unbeatable high-tech trio.”
