Despite the increasing number of women starting businesses, the robotics industry still lacks female representation. Only 12.8% of robotics companies that raised funding in February and March 2024 had a woman on their founding team. Two female co-founders, Ros Shinkle and Kathleen Brandes of Adagy Robotics, and Andrea Thomaz and Vivian Chu of Diligent Robotics, share their experiences as women in the industry.
