Matic, a new entrant in the robotic vacuum cleaner space, has emerged from stealth with nearly $30 million in funding from major investors. The product is a combination robot vacuum cleaner/mop and is now available for pre-order in the U.S. for $1,495. Matic promises to reinvent not just cleaning but the entire space of indoor robotics by going back to first principles. The robo vacuum market is more more mature, but still growing.
