AI is slowly being used in manufacturing facilities to do tasks such as predictive maintenance, cognitive computing, swarm intelligence, context-aware computing, and smart machines. Automated image recognition is used for quality control and inspections, and autonomous guided vehicles are used for production. AI can also be used for demand forecasting, quality control, inspections, and automated stockrooms. AI is expected to contribute up to $15.7 trillion to the manufacturing industry by 2025, and is projected to reach USD 68,360 million by 2032.
