Microchip Technology has launched the MPLAB Machine Learning Development Suite, a software toolkit that can be used across their portfolio of microcontrollers and microprocessors to add machine learning inference quickly and efficiently. This toolkit helps engineers build highly efficient, small-footprint ML models and eliminates many repetitive, tedious and time-consuming model-building tasks. It is the first to support 8-bit, 16-bit and 32-bit MCUs and 32-MPUs for ML at the edge.
