Ericsson’s vision of a zero-touch network is one that is capable of self-configuring, healing, optimizing, and protecting itself, without active human intervention. This is enabled by intent-based automation, coupled with AI/ML, which allows CSP networks to become self-driving networks that can deliver on business and sustainability targets. The automation of CSP networks is similar to the automation of cars to self-driving cars, where multiple functions are interconnected and autonomously executed.
