Collaborative Robotics has raised $30M in Series A funding led by Sequoia Capital, bringing the total amount raised since founding to over $40M. The company was founded in 2022 by Brad Porter, former VP of Amazon Robotics, to redefine the future of human-robot interaction. The company is intentionally vague about its novel cobot, but it is working on a new generation of collaborative robotics that will move out of the factory and warehouse and into interactions with the public. The company is led by an experienced development and management team, most significantly Jon Battles, who is the VP of Technical Strategy.
