Torc To Acquire Computer Vision Company Algolux

Torc Robotics, an independent subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG, has signed an agreement to acquire Algolux for its expertise in computer vision and machine learning. This acquisition brings together Algolux’s end-to-end AI stack and Torc’s pioneering autonomous technology, with the aim of bringing a commercially viable, safety-critical long-haul trucking application to market at scale.
