Marquette University has received a donation from the Omron Foundation of over $1 million to establish the Omron Advanced Automation Lab. This lab provides students with hands-on experience in designing, building, and testing solutions using state-of-the-art automation technologies. The donation included a variety of advanced automation solutions such as collaborative robots, industrial robots, vision systems, and safety components. The lab will educate both engineering and business students on ways to implement Industry 4.0.
