Mineral, an ag tech company, has recently graduated from “X, the moonshot factory” and become an independent business within Alphabet Inc., Google’s parent company. Mineral has developed a crop data collection module, a robot rover that trundles over row crops and gathers and transmits field data. The data collected is then used to create models to provide farmers with insight into their crops.
