Insurors’ Vendor Relationships May Get Wintery Gusts: A Chill For Consumer Data, Artificial Intelligence (ai), And Machine Learning (ml) Services?

At the National Association of Insurance Commissioners Fall National Meeting, the Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (H) Working Group and the Innovation, Cybersecurity, and Technology (H) Committee discussed the use of consumer data, AI, and ML and the role of third party vendors. They concluded that any regulations of insurers’ use of consumer data, AI, and ML should blanket both insurers and third party vendors.
