Elon Musk has recently reached out to several artificial intelligence researchers to form a new lab that will work on developing an alternative to OpenAI’s generative AI chatbot ChatGPT. Igor Babuschkin, a researcher who recently left Alphabet’s DeepMind AI unit, has been approached by the Twitter CEO. Babuschkin has not officially signed onto the Musk initiative.
