A new report by the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) has found that China is leading the technological race with the West and is on its way to becoming the world’s leading technology superpower. The report tracked 44 critical technologies, and found that China was ahead in 37 of them, while the United States was ahead in the remaining seven. It is clear that urgent action is needed in the West to prevent China from becoming the world’s leading technology superpower.
