A recent study has revealed that humans share 99% of their genomes with chimpanzees and bonobos monkeys, and 98% with gorillas. This begs the question of whether the digital world, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Deep Learning, may soon make our genomes identical with that of the apes. The 1% difference lies in the size of our brains, with the human brain being three times larger than that of chimps. However, this may be changing in certain parts of the world.
