Machine Learning (ML) is a branch of Artificial Intelligence (AI) which enables machines to learn from data and experience, in order to make better decisions and tasks without human involvement. ML does this by taking inputs and filtering them through a neural network, testing out strategies, and using feedback to ‘learn’ and adjust to the data it receives. Arthur Samuel is credited as the first person to coin the term Machine Learning, and since then, ML has become a distinct field from AI.
