A project was recently completed to identify the ideal skillset needed for the digital age. The skills were divided into three categories: hard, soft, and policy skills. Hard skills are technical abilities such as digital literacy, risk management, monitoring and evaluation, and research. Soft skills include communication, problem solving, and critical thinking. Lastly, policy skills involve understanding the legal and ethical framework of international development.
