In the past decade, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies have been rapidly advancing and have become a part of everyday life for many US adults. The US Department of Defense (DoD) has already invested in the transformative technology advancement and AI/ML adoption. However, the weaponization of AI poses an ethical dilemma with the potential to cause catastrophic damage. Companies collect customer information to support demands and develop sales strategies, but the weaponization of AI could lead to the use of customer data in ways that are unethical.
