Amazon and Howard University have announced a new collaboration that will fund faculty research in the HBCU’s College of Engineering and Architecture, with an initial focus on machine learning and natural language processing. The research is part of an effort to create a long-lasting pipeline of diverse science talent and differentiated research, and will help to train underrepresented minority students to become future innovators.
