Samsung recently introduced its ‘Space Zoom’ feature with the Galaxy S20 Ultra, which has a 100x magnification option. However, a Redditor has concluded that all the impressive moon shots seen in Samsung’s marketing material and on the internet were fake, created using an AI model and piecing data together. The Redditor showed how easy it is to create such moon shots by downloading a near-perfect image of the moon from the internet, downscaling it to a resolution of 170 x 170, applying a gaussian blur, and then upscaling it to 4x.
