Three Baskin Engineering alumni have been awarded a $1 million grant from the National Science Foundation to support the development of an extended reality platform for physical rehabilitation. The platform, created by their company Immergo Labs, uses AI and VR to enhance remote physical therapy care. The team was inspired by their work at UC Santa Cruz and is advised by professors from the university.
