Omdia predicts that NB-IoT and LoRa-based IoT connectivity technologies will dominate the LPWA market, with a combined 3.5 billion connections by 2030. NB-IoT will remain the leading standard, driven by its popularity in China, while LoRaWAN leads in other regions. High-powered LTE-M will also see significant growth, while newer technologies like Wi-SUN and MIOTY will also gain traction. Sigfox, however, may struggle to keep up.
