A new report from Berg Insight shows a decline in annual shipments and sales of cellular IoT modules due to high inventory levels and changes in purchasing behavior. The five largest vendors hold a majority share of the market and LTE Cat-1 bis modules are expected to see rapid growth in the coming years. LTE-M modules remain popular for IoT devices with strict power consumption requirements.
