This article discusses the use of IoT devices in flood risk management, specifically in the implementation of flood early warning systems and throughout all stages of flood risk management. The research aims to fill the gap in a comprehensive framework for classifying and explaining the roles of IoT sensors in preventing, mitigating, preparing for, responding to, and recovering from floods.
