Barcelona stands as the capital of the new economy, with 66% of Spanish SMEs planning to invest in digitization in the next three years. The Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB) is leading the transition to industry 4.0, and is convening the Barcelona New Economy Week (BNEW) from October 2 to 5. This edition will focus on seven fundamental verticals of the new economy, including Digital Industry, which is powered by technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), robotics and cloud computing.
