In this article, a dual lesion attention network (DLA-Net) is proposed for the accurate and early detection of pneumoconiosis using chest X-rays. The network consists of two main components: feature extraction and feature refinement, which use a combination of channel and spatial attention modules to extract discriminative and rich contextual features. Experimental results show improved performance compared to traditional methods, making it a promising tool for clinical practice.
