The GARMI assistance robot, developed by researchers at TUM, is able to autonomously perform various caregiving tasks and communicate with patients through the use of a digital twin, artificial intelligence, and ChatGPT. It can also book medical appointments and facilitate telemedical examinations. The robot’s versatility and intelligence were demonstrated at the 2024 ICRA conference.
