The Tico Times weekly news recap is a new initiative to increase the number of people with disabilities who can enjoy the beautiful beaches of Costa Rica. The project is a collaboration between the Costa Rican Institute of Tourism (ICT) and the local government of Panama Beach and includes the installation of a new boardwalk, accessible restrooms, and a beach wheelchair. The boardwalk is designed to provide easy access for people with mobility issues and the beach wheelchair will allow people with disabilities to enjoy the beach in a safe and comfortable way.
