Dracula Technologies has opened a new production facility in France for its low-light energy-harvesting technology, which has passed an audit by Semtech and is ready for high-volume production. The factory aligns with European regulations to phase out non-rechargeable batteries in IoT devices and is the world’s largest dedicated to the production of organic photovoltaic modules. The company has received funding from both Semtech and the French government and plans to have 250 employees by 2030.
